The Month of Emerald

This month's birthstone is the green emerald. I am kind of partial to emeralds as my birthday is in May. :) The deep green of emeralds is reminiscent of the greens of spring, and was prized by may cultures, even as far back as ancient Egypt! The emerald is also associated with loyalty, faithfulness and friendship. So in honor of all my friends and followers who share my birth month, here is a collection of beautiful Etsy emeralds!
