...my true love gave to me, six geese a laying, and one less candy cane on the tree! As it gets closer and closer to Christmas, a mysterious thing happens in my house, the candy canes begin to disappear off of our tree! No one knows where they go, and no one will admit to taking them. Is it ghosts? Elves? I mean I've been know to steal one on occasion, but that alone can not account for the fact that by New Year's Eve, there are usually none left! I have a theory that my husband and my family that tends to visit weekly, has something to do with it, but they are in flat out denial. So unless I decided to set up a sting operation this season, I guess will just have to continue blaming the elves! And now on to today's verse!
