Ahh! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I'm not done shopping yet!!! I guess this is going to be a REALLY short post! :)
Silver Bells was written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans and first recorded by Bing Crosby and Carol Richards in 1950. I have always wanted to go Christmas shopping in the city and see all the decorations and store displays, but that will remain, once again, on my wish list for next year. I do see quite a bit of shopping in my future, but I believe it will be at the local Target, rather then in New York City! :)
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks,
Dressed in holiday style,
In the air, there's a feeling of Christmas.
Children laughing,
People passing,
Meeting smile after smile,
And on every street corner, you'll hear.
Silver bells! Silver bells!
It's Christmas time in the city.
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring.
Soon it will be Christmas day!
See you on Christmas Eve! :)
What a great blog and a wonderful mix of holiday art! Thanks so much for featuring mine! Have a magical Christmas!
