I bought our Halloween candy yesterday. Now I all I have to do is finish decorating the outside of the house and make sure no one eats the candy till Halloween, and I'll be done! :) This will be the first Halloween in our new house, so I have no idea how many kids will show up. Our last neighborhood had hardly any kids, and was out in the middle of nowhere. This year we are in a real neighborhood, so I think we'll have a LOT more kids! I hope I bought enough candy... Do you get a lot of trick-or-treaters at your house? How much candy do you buy? I guess if I run out of candy, I can always start giving out snack food from the cabinet. :)
And speaking of Halloween, today's mini treasury is Books and Zines Across Etsy, and since I'm in a Halloween mood, it ended up with a very spooky motif. Enjoy! (If you dare...) :o
If you'd like to see more creepily fantastic pieces, check out the big treasury that matches this one!
And if that selection was a little too scary for you, why not check out my giveaway of cuddly cuteness! You could win this adorable knit kitty cat! :)

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to live in a house and get trick-or-treaters!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful turnout!!!
Yup---the trick is to keep the treats uneaten until the big day! lol We used to get a ton of kids (100-150)--5 years ago. The numbers are going down fast, last year we had about 50. I miss the busy time, it was lots of fun. I think people a gettng a little leery about door-to-door and are more into parties and the mall.

great treasuries! I hardly had any kids last year, I remember when the world was a much safer place and no one thought twice about trick or treating.
